Cherryville - Mr. Willard Harold Hicks, 83, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.
Willard was born on July 13, 1939 in Floyd County, Georgia son of the late Archie Richard Hicks and Ruby Sargent Hicks. He was retired as a letterpress for The Star Ledger in New Jersey. Willard served in the U.S. Air Force .
Survivors include his daughter, Kira Hamoudeh of Georgia and her children; two sisters, Taressa McDonald and Deborah Collins both of Cherryville.
Services and burial will be private.
