Obituary for Wanda Truesdell
Cherryville - Mrs. Wanda Yates Truesdell, 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.
Wanda was born on January 18, 1944 in Binghamton, New York a daughter of the late William Othess Yates and Veva Mae Monroe Yates. She retired from the Chenango Valley School District in Binghamton, New York after 27 years as a bus driver. Wanda was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed watching preaching, listening to gospel music, reading her Bible and other Christian books.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Truesdell and a son, David Truesdell.
Survivors include a son, Michael Truesdell and wife Cindy of Cherryville; four grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Thomas and Gracie; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Parker and a brother, Bill Yates both of New York.
Services and burial will be held at a later date.
