Obituary for Shirley "Nan" Page
Cherryville - Mrs. Shirley Ann "Nan" Page, 75, formerly of 208 Page Road, Sparta Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.
Mrs. Page was born on July 28, 1946 in Sparta, Tennessee a daughter of the late Joseph C. Scott and Mattie Pearl Simmons Scott. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee. Nan, as she was affectionately, known enjoyed being outside and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hollace N. Page.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Page Word and husband Joey of Cherryville, NC; a son Jeffrey Page and wife, Charlene of Sparta, TN; a brother James "Buddy" Nash; a sister, Mary Etta Cope both of Sparta, TN; five grandchildren, Amanda Page, Joshua Page, Christopher Page, Jordan Houston and Sarah Word and also nine great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
There will also be a visitation on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 10:45am to 11:45am at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville, TN.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Hood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in Smith Chapel Church Cemetery in Sparta, Tennessee.
