Obituary for Ronnie Philbeck
Cherryville - Mr. Ronald Eugene "Ronnie" Philbeck, 69, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Atrium Health - Kings Mountain.
Ronnie was born on July 16, 1953 in Cleveland County, NC a son of the late Charles Hezekiah Philbeck and Pauline Phillips Philbeck. He was retired from the textile industry working for Doran Textiles in Cherryville and Patrick Yarns in Kings Mountain. Ronnie was a member of Plainsview Baptist Church in Lawndale.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Brittain Philbeck; a daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Williams; a brother, Ben Philbeck; two sisters, Barbara Cole and Geneva Moore;
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Glover of Cherryville; six grandchildren, Jessica Wiley (Chris), Amber Bryson (Josh Bolding), Taylor Williams, Zachary Glover, Jeremy and Jordan Hicks; three great grandchildren, Autumn Grace Williams, Jarvis Bolding and Jaxson Bolding; two sisters, Margie Ware of Kings Mountain and Kathy Stanford of Laurinburg; a niece who was like a daughter, Connie Hallman of Maiden.
Services will be private.
