Obituary for Robin DeVenny
Cherryville - Robin Seate DeVenny, 64 of Jennifer Lane, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation, Cherryville.
Born October 10, 1958 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late A.W. Seate and Betty Hallman Seate. Robin worked for Belk's in Cherryville and was retired from Cigna Insurance Company and was a member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church in Crouse.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Scott DeVenny.
Survivors include her son, Nathaniel DeVenny and special friend Aryana Greene; brother, Maurice Seate and wife, Brenda; two sisters, Renee Jenks and husband Rick and Linda Beam and husband, Murray Jr.; three nephews, Steven Seate and wife, Shannon, Trey Beam and wife, Kelli and Cam Jenks and wife, Ashley and great nieces and nephew, Addie, Darrah and Aiden all of Cherryville.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the First Wesleyan Church.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00pm at the First Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Mark Poe officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Wesleyan Church, 800 N. Pink Street, Cherryville, NC 28021.
