Obituary for Polly Dyer (Hundley)
Cherryville - Mrs. Polly Dyer, 91, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Dyer was born on November 16, 1929 in Hamilton County, TN a daughter of the late Lawrence Hundley and Luda Davis Hundley. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cherryville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Carson Dyer and a great-great granddaughter, Dixie Rose Miller.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Brogdon and husband Ronnie of Cherryville; Shirley Kelley and husband Don of Clay City, Indiana; four grandchildren, Sherri Pennington, Crystal Miller, Melinda Cooke and David Kelley; 13 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Charity Baptist Church in Lawndale with Rev. Kyeth Lindsay officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the service.
