Shelby - Mrs. Norma Jean Frady, 74, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.

Mrs. Frady was born on May 4, 1947 in Cleveland County, NC daughter of the late Viola Early Johnson. She was a member of Hope Community Church in Shelby.

Survivors include her husband, Michael H. Frady of the home; a son, Lance Frady and wife Caroline of Cherryville; a daughter, Leah Wray and husband Johnny; a brother, Jimmy Upton and wife Kay all of Shelby; five grandchildren, Seth Frady, Kyle Wray, Mackenzie Wray, Makayla Wray and Kami Wray; two great grandchildren, Emery and Carson Wray.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, January 24, 2022 at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville with Pastor Skip Allen officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service.
