Obituary for Michael Frady
Shelby - Mr. Michael Hershel Frady, 84, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Michael was born on February 12, 1938 in Cleveland County, NC a son of the late Baxter Frady and Bertha Bivins Frady. He was retired as an electronics technician. Michael was a member of Hope Community Church in Shelby and served in the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Frady.
Survivors include his son, Lance Frady and wife, Caroline; daughter, Leah Wray and husband, Johnny; sister, Ann Kirkendall; five grandchildren, Seth Frady, Kyle Wray, Mackenzie Wray, Makayla Wray and Kami Wray and two great-grandchildren, Emery and Carson Wray.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 3:30pm on Friday, October 21, 2022 at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville with Pastor Bryan Glisson officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service.
