Cherryville - Mrs. Mary Carpenter Reynolds, 86, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Peak Resources.
Mrs. Reynolds was born on November 3, 1936 in Lincoln County, NC a daughter of the late Lander Carpenter and Irene Elizabeth Carpenter. She was retired from Blackwelder Textiles in Cherryville. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of Leonards Fork Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
Survivors include two daughters, Dee Dee Parker and husband Joel; Emma Clayton and husband Stan all of Cherryville; three grandchildren, Wendy Smith and husband Lee; Haley and Natalie Clayton and one great grandson, LCpl. Ryan P. Wright.
The family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 1:30PM on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the home of Dee Dee and Joel Parker.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Leonards Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.
Burial will be at Leonards Fork Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
