Obituary for Margaret Wells Brittain
Cherryville - Mrs. Margaret Wells Brittain, 80, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
Margaret was born on August 22, 1941 in Gaston County, NC a daughter of the late Fred Wells and Ethel Sistare Wells. She retired as an LPN for Lincoln Medical Center in Lincolnton. Margaret was a member of Plainsview Baptist Church in Lawndale. She enjoyed playing softball and bowling. Margaret also enjoyed trips to the beach
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brittain.
Survivors include two daughters, Denise Walker and husband Scott; Pam Lucas; a son Darren Brittain; two grandchildren, Stephanie Lucas and Dustin Lucas and a great granddaughter, Kinsley Lucas all of Cherryville.
Visitation will be from 12:45PM to 1:45PM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Plainsview Baptist Church in Lawndale. At other times the family will be at Margaret's home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Plainsview Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Key and Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
