Obituary for Linda May
Vale - Mrs. Linda Dru Willis May, 66, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.
Linda was born on February 21, 1955 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of the late Lee Roy and Inez Willis. She was retired from Viscotec in Morganton. Linda was a member of Hull's Grove Baptist Church in Vale.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Petrea.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, George W. May of the home; a daughter, Leann Thomas and husband John of Vale; a son, Mackie Ollis and wife Cindy of Zebulon; three grandchildren, Courtney Dedmond (Seth), Ashley Urness and Sierra Blackley; three great grandchildren, Gabriel Wall, Olivia and Sophia Dedmond; two sisters, Catherine Burton of Vale and Carolyn Turner of Lincolnton; two brothers, Eddie Willis of Cherryville and Larry Willis of Vale.
Visitation will be from 12:45PM to 1:45PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Hull's Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Hull's Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Travis Elmore and Bobby Farmer officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
