Shelby - Mr. Lester Cruz Acevedo, 42, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021.
Lester was born on March 21, 1979 in San Juan, Puerto Rico a son of Evangelina Acevedo of Shelby and the late Julio Alberto Cruz. He was a self-employed barber.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carlos Alberto Cruz.
Survivors include his mother, Evangelina Acevedo; a sister, Anallary Rios both of Shelby and a brother, Luis Manuel Garcia of Raleigh.
Services and burial for Mr. Acevedo will be private.
