Lincolnton - Larry Eugene Wise, 78 of Wise Road, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at home.
Born in Lincoln County, NC on December 16, 1942 he was the son of the late Lemuel Eugene Wise and Lula Mae Reep Wise. He was retired from Linwood Golf Course.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Bob Wise and a sister, Carolyn Causby.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Murlene "Polly" Auton Wise; son, Lorn Wise of Lincolnton; daughter, Shelia Huss and husband, Ron of Crouse; granddaughter, Haley Brooke Huss of Crouse; brother, William Darrell Wise of Lincolnton; sister, Nancy Wise of Lincolnton and brother-in-law, Steve Causby of Mt. Pleasant, NC.
A visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
Burial will be private.
