Obituary for Kenneth B. Wright
Dallas - Mr. Kenneth Bryan Wright, 92, went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.
Mr. Wright was born in Cleveland County, NC on July 20, 1930 a son of the late William Albert Wright, Sr. and Idelia "Dillie" Willis Wright. Mr. Wright was retired as a salesman and manager for Southern Farm Bureau. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dallas and the United Methodist Men. Mr. Wright was also a member of the Gideon's International and was a mason. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Mary Daphine Powell Wright; eight siblings and a son-in-law Robby Robinson.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip Bryan Wright (Amanda) and Steven Wayne Wright; two daughters Missy Wright Froneberger (Tony) and Paula Wright Robinson; six grandchildren, Sharon Wright Holcombe, Jeremy Bryan Wright, Kendall Leigh Wright, Alex Robinson Fitschen, Hannah Noel Robinson and Eric Matthew Froneberger; five great grandchildren, Bella Grace Holcombe, Caleb Lee Holcombe, Samantha Jean Fitschen, Noah Anthony Froneberger and Peter Robinson Fitchen.
Visitation will be from 11:45AM to 12:45PM on Monday, March 13, 2023 at First United Methodist Church in Dallas.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, March 13, 2023 at First United Methodist Church in Dallas with the Revs. Billy Ervin and Caroll Flack officiating.
Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia with Military Honors.
