Obituary for Hazel J. Stanley
Lincolnton - Mrs. Hazel J. Stanley, 96, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the Heath House in Lincolnton.
Mrs. Stanley was born on February 18, 1926 in Rutherford County, NC a daughter of the late William Thomas Humphries and Janie Gibson Humphries. She was retired from the textile industry. Mrs. Stanley was a member of Gainsville Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis F. Stanley, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Cantrell and husband Ken of Crouse; a granddaughter, Crystal Warlick and husband Ray; three great granddaughters, Misty McIntosh, Lacey Richards and Elizabeth Motz and five great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Gainsville Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Gainsville Baptist Church with Rev. Ernie Richards and Mrs. Mae Ervin officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
