Obituary for Gregory "Rollo" Fielder
Cherryville - Mr. Gregory Austin "Rollo" Fielder, 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.
He was born in Cleveland County, NC on July 11, 1957 the only child of Gerald Austin Fielder and Juanita Brady Fielder. Rollo worked for Carter Chevrolet and Keeter Ford Lincoln Mercury in the detail shop before his health declined. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cherryville and enjoyed drag racing.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Lorra Howell of the home; two daughters, Katie Marie Fielder of Cherryville and Madeline Paige Fielder of Gastonia; two grandchildren, Peyton Moore and Memphis Austin Gregory Fielder.
Visitation will be from 10:45AM to 11:45AM on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cherryville and at other times the family will be at the home.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Huss officiating.
Burial will be private.
