Cherryville - Mr. Gary G. Wright, 63, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.
Gary was born on May 11, 1958 in Cleveland County, NC a son of the late Carl Wright and Ayleen York Shook. He was a forklift operator for Vondrehle in Maiden. Gary was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Deborah L. Wright of the home; three sons, Gary Wright of Cherryville, Erik Wright of Vale and Kelly Wright of Lenoir; two sisters, Phyllis Hannon of Kings Mountain and Sherry Miller of Hickory; two brothers, Danny Wright of Cherryville and Doug Wright of Kings Mountain; eleven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:30PM to 1:45PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Lackey officiating.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family requests that you wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Burial will be private.
