Cherryville - Mrs. Elizabeth Detlefsen, 92, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Carolina Care Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cherryville.

Mrs. Detlefsen was born on August 29, 1930 in Queens, New York a daughter of the late William Muller and Grace Lavell Muller. She worked as a bank teller but her most important jobs were being a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Detlefsen and a son Gary Detlefsen.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Gaylor and husband Denny; a son Keith Detlefsen and wife Linda; a brother, Lou Muller and wife Madeline all of Cherryville; four grandchildren Jessica Detlefsen (Armando Burgos), Lisa Detlefsen, Gary Gaylor (Taylor) and Sarah Gaylor (Sean Hagler); one great grandson, Jonas Hagler.

Services and burial will be private.
