Obituary for Cindy Gales
Cherryville - Mrs. Cindy "Lou Lou" Gales, 67, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Cindy was born on January 14, 1955 in Cleveland County, NC daughter of the late Guy Anthony and Lona Hovis Anthony. She was a member of Bethlehem Community Church in Cherryville and helped her daughter Sara with youth activities. Cindy was a homemaker and also helped her husband Melvin at the produce stand.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Melvin Gales of the home; daughter Sara Gales Thorpe and husband Glen of Cherryville. Also surviving are several cousins, other family members and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Bethlehem Community Church with Rev. Michael Harrill, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
