Cherryville - Mr. Bobby Odell "Bluebird" Belew, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Bobby was born on January 27, 1944 in Harlan, Kentucky a son of the late James Belew and Edna Wolfenbarger Belew. He was owner and operator of Bluebird Siding. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing and bluegrass music.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jacqueline Ebbert Belew of the home; three daughters Kimberly Belew (Bruce); Robin Eaton (Russ) all of Cherryville; Candy Engelbert (Donnie) of Hartsville, SC; two brothers Wayne Belew of Manchester, TN and Eddie Belew of Knoxville, TN; nine grandchildren, Chip Belew, Ashlee Belew, Tiffany Belew, James Belew, Nicholas Monda, Heather Belew, Krista Eaton, Jonathan Mickle and Blake Miller. Also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

The family will have a celebration of Bobby's life beginning at 12:00PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the residence, 506 E. Hill Drive, Cherryville, NC 28021.

Burial will be private.
