Obituary for Shayne Whiddon
Cherryville – Mr. Bart Shayne Whiddon, 58, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.
Shayne was born on December 1, 1964 in Mobile, Alabama a son of the late Earl Whiddon and Ruby Jeana Yaw Slaughter. He was an auto mechanic. Shayne was a member of Arrowood Baptist Church in Bessemer City.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shaynena Hull and a sister, Barbie Whitaker.
Survivors include his son, Harley Whiddon and wife Maegan; three grandsons, Brody Carpenter, Talen and Nolan Whiddon all of Cherryville; a brother Brett Whiddon of Cherryville and two sisters, Carolyn Hardage of Cherryville and Peggy Sue Lowery of Alabama.
A private burial will be held at Arrowood Baptist Church Cemetery in Bessemer City.
