Lincolnton – Mrs. Doretha Barber Cochrane, 87, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Atrium Health Lincoln.
Mrs. Cochrane was born on July 27, 1935 in Cook County, GA a daughter of the late James Madison Barber and Mary Bertha Callahan Barber. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her four sons, Jerry Cochrane, Jr. and wife Teresa of Oklahoma; John Cochrane and wife Roxanna of Boiling Springs; Jim Cochrane and wife Christy of Vale; Joel Cochrane and wife Terri of Maiden; five grandchildren, John Andrew Cochrane, Abigail Cochrane Carnehl, Stuart Cochrane, Jacob Cochrane and Paul Cochrane and four great grandchildren, Leeland, Graham, Davidson and Annaleigh.
The family will receive friends from 11:45AM to 12:45PM on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dennis Bean officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.
